Freelance Artist

Anayah Roots is an artist whose work flows from her emotions and dreams, capturing her creative spirit on canvas. She is a member of KKV Textile and Graphics and also belongs to Bildverkstaden in Gothenburg for professional artists.

Since childhood, Anayah has been creating art and has been awarded a cultural scholarship for her significant contributions to culture. Her artistic journey began with dance at the age of 3 and music at the age of 5. She has been drawing since a young age and later embraced yoga at the age of 22. Anayah's formal education includes studies at Nya Domen Art School and in film.

Throughout her career, Anayah has participated in various collaborations and exhibitions, as well as appearances on TV, radio, and in newspapers. Her notable contributions include artworks for the City Library, murals for restaurants, and the design of logos and studio art. Each piece reflects her deep connection to her artistic vision and her community. Anayah is a multi-skilled individual, and her artistry bridges music and visual art. She also works as a freelance consultant in yoga, breathwork, and sound healing. Anayah takes on various projects, including video, film, illustrations, logos, murals, and more. Despite yoga taking up a significant portion of her time, she never abandons her art. Anayah works extensively with recycling and sustainability.
